Sometimes, the small things have the greatest impact on our lives. Have you ever been in line at Starbucks, gotten to the window and found out that the car ahead of you had already paid your bill? Or maybe you received an unsigned encouraging note that made your day. What's the most amazing "Random Act Of Kindness" that you've ever experienced or accomplished? My Random act of Kindness, was once back about 14 yrs ago. I was a single mom of 3 daughters,Chelsea my youngest was 11 months old, and I was making less than $10 an hour at my secreatary job in Seattle. The daycare called and said Chelsea was out of diapers. I didn't have a dime to my name at that moment and didn't get paid for 4 more days. I said a pray asking for if I could just get $20 to buy diapers. Well I checked my bank account and there was the 1st child support check of $120 from Chelsea's father. I was so elated I asked for only $20 and got $120, how blessed I felt. By the time I left work it was pouring raining, and there was as a homeless lady standing in the rain asking for change, I thought if I have a dollar I'll give it to her, I checked my pocket and only had a $10. I'm thinking no way I'm giving her a $10, but then remembered I had only asked for $20 and recieved $120, so I gave her the $10. She busrt out crying saying She only needed two more dollars for a $8 room, and I was the last person she was going to ask before giving up on the room idea and just go and try to find a try place for the night, but with the $10 she can get something warm to eat and the room. I went home and told my girls the events of my day and it is a memory of paying it forward, we reflect on to this day.

Our Smile on Another story ~

    Dear Pastors Kevin & Sheila,

We teamed up together and put on a 'party with purpose' on January 10th. (Originally scheduled for Dec 20 but cancelled due to snow.) This party included a video presentation of our Forever Home followed by a free-will offering and a live auction. We want to say that SMILE on ANOTHER has been one of the greatest things we've been involved in. Thank you for the wonderful opportunity to increase the talents given us. It's been exciting to see God's hand in this! We have been blessed by the generosity starting with YOU followed by those that participated at our party and the community who donated auction items. (We received donations ranging from $25 to $220!) This was a night where 20 of us came together, with one vision, and raised $1,271.00 for the Foundation! (Our goal was $1,000). This was amazing!!!

    Gratefully His ~
